Typical survival story that wasn't so bad. This particular taking place in the Arctic. I was surprised, people died. It was okay sitting the hour and half through it. Berry Pepper has been in quite a few movies and this one I thought he didn't do too bad in. I give it 3 stars.

Movie Review : Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog"

This rocked! It was originally aired as 8 separate video-type blog posts on the internet (I read somewhere) as the desc. says back in the writers strike time frame. It is just funny, and corny, and I actually really enjoyed the soundtrack as well. In fact, I loaded it into itunes for me. This is one I would like to find at the video store to buy on dvd to watch whenever I want. 5 stars is too low a rating for it.

Okay, I admit it. This is where some of my movie viewing time has been going recently. So I finished the whole first season, and really enjoyed it for being dated in the early 2000's. Though Vegas is close to me, distance-wise, just the basic storylines for a one hour show were decent. And some of the chicks are hot...or were then. Caan is a good actor I like, too. I give it 5 stars, and will start watching season 2 soon.

I picked this for an Instant Play - I think it was because I was 'in between' on movies showing up...and it had gotten some higher viewer ratings. Figured maybe I would check it out. Yeah, I watched it. It wasn't spectacular. Simple story of how doing one of them drug studies you hear about all the time, can go wrong.... and just by chance, the side effects make you do stuff that actually are nice for society, though done in the wrong way (vigilante justice). Indie film... low budget... no major big names. I was okay with it... 2 stars.

Shyamalan directed this... should of known it would suck. I sat down thinking this would be a nice little thriller/horror ind of flick..... but no. I think the only part I liked was the idea that 'there are no coincidences'. One star is being nice.

Movie Review : "Salt"

The story and action through this movie eluded me most of the way, so I enjoyed it a bit more. There was a good bit of action interspersed with bits and pieces of what was going on. Liev... damn, he played a good role in this flick! I usually am a bit of a horndog for Jolie as a rule, but I just couldn't get there for this role. She appears so ... robotic (I don't think it all was part of the role, though some of it needed to be) and I just got a bad taste in my mouth. Kind of how I went sour with her in "Changling" though she was more anorexic looking in that one. Liev saved it though, so I give it 4 stars.

This has got to be the worst cartoon/animation type film I have seen in years. The storyline wasn't that great, and the only laughs I got were from the duck and goose. Yeah, some well named actors loaned their voice talents, and I think Hopper had passed during the process or shortly after (I seem to recall there was a dedication somewhere in there for him for the film). Definitely BAH! Though, my kids seemed to enjoy it, but one of them did say it was stupid... rating is 1 star.
